2012韩国剧情历史片《双面君王 》由秋昌旼导演，李秉宪主演，影片讲述的是：
朝政混乱，形式紧张的朝鲜时代，位居权利最高点的朝鲜君王——光海（李秉宪 饰）虽然手握大权，但却依然无法摆脱派系间的斗争和被觊觎其权利的旁人“毒害”的危机。心思颇深的光海和其参谋大臣徐均（柳承龙 饰）在民间找到了和光海本人极其相似的平民——夏善来作为他的替身，替他阻挡那些来自四面八方的危机。和光海的性格南辕北辙的夏善是个心思单纯的普通老百姓，被推倒最前线的他不得不模仿光海的模样，作为他的傀儡。这样大的反差引起了皇后（韩孝珠 饰）的注意和困惑。随着时间的加深，光海和夏善，这两个既相似又完全不同的人展开了他们相互交集的人生。

But when Park Kun-young's careful and precise direction begins to focus on the details of Jinwoo's existence, slowly revealing his restless soul, we gradually discover the complexity of the reasons that led to Jinwoo's extreme choice to retire in the countryside to live like a shepherd.
The arrival at the ranch of Jinwoo’s longtime male friend from university, Hyunmin, upsets all balance. Moonkyeong, the ranch owner’s daughter, who has a crush on Jinwoo, accidentally discover the two men in bed and shortly afterwards Jinwoo’s twin sister, and Seol’s birth mother, shows up at the ranch after years of absence and silence and wants to take her daughter back to Seoul.
The community of that small country place, which seemed kind and nice, slowly reveals their true colours and deep disapproval of the two men's relationship. The fragile sandcastle of happiness that Jinwoo has struggled to build is crumbling and the cold, harsh winter is upon him.

Synopsis
"Falsely accused as the murderer of my own husband... Oh, the cruel machinations of fate!" A female teacher (Lee Yong-ae) gives shelter to an escaped convict, but her husband, misconstruing her intentions, reacts violently and accidentally stabs himself to death in the process. The teacher is charged with her husband's murder, but fortunately the prosecutor on the case is a former student of hers, of whom she had taken painstaking care when she was working at an elementary school. Remembering her kindness to him, the prosecutor uncovers her innocence in court, and she is acquitted of the crime.

"A silent movie that allows us to examine the narrator-accompanied method of 16mm films" (Chung Jong-wha)
A Public Prosecutor and a Teacher is familiar to us for the performance of Shin Chool, Korea's last silent movie narrator (known as "byeonsa"in Korean). Numerous critics have recommended the film, praising it as "a silent movie that allows us to examine the narrator-accompanied method of 16mm films" (Chung Jong-wha), "the work of Korea's last silent movie narrator" (Kim Hong-joon), a movie that "reflects the public's consciousness and has great historical value" (Lee Seung-hun), and "the archetypal new-school film" (Chung Sung-il). As evidenced by such commentary, A Public Prosecutor and a Teacherenjoys greater recognition for its historical value as the only surviving silent movie in Korea than for its artistic or technical aspects. What is ironic is the fact that this recognition derivesfrom a production and screening method that fell behind the times, as sound films (or "talkies") had already become the norm when the movie was first made. Its inclusion in the list is therefore based on its historical, social context rather than on the film itself.

作为一名影像制作人，民浩（金贤成 饰）已经很多年没有推出新的作品了，不仅仅是在工作方面，平淡而乏味的婚姻生活也让他陷入了纠结而痛苦的境地。在妻子智慧（金汝珍 饰）的建议下，民浩决定拍摄一组人体彩绘相关的作品，而模特的人选则定在了智慧那有些神神叨叨的妹妹英慧（蔡敏瑞 饰）的身上。乍看之下，英慧是一个体型异常瘦弱的女子，甚至到了病态的地步，因为她是一个纯粹的素食主义者。而英慧之所以会成为一名素食主义者，是因为她曾经被一个血腥诡异的梦境所困扰。
英慧和民浩之间产生了一种奇妙的化学反应，使得两人有些情不自禁。而作为亲人和妻子，无能为力的智慧只能眼睁睁的看着事态向她无法掌控的方向慢慢的发展。
智商只有60的东球（崔佑赫 饰）是个烂漫纯真的11岁小孩，天生智障的他觉得世界上最开心的事情就是去学校念书，尽管也有点察觉自己和身边的同学不太一样，但能够呆在嘻哈热闹的伙伴中间，哪怕只能是看着他们自己当个局外人，或者去离教室挺远的地方给他们倒点水，东球也觉得是心满意足了。
东球不明白同学们为什么总是对着他笑，他总是回迎个乾净甜美的笑脸。可是有一天，东球的水壶神秘“飞走了”，原来小小的幸福也被新款的饮水机剥夺了——同学们这回再也不需要他的帮忙了。好不容易，东球找到了新的快乐方向：棒球部的学生们忙于训练，喝水问题成了头疼的事情。于是，“棒球部水值班员”东球带着更大的水壶出现了，继续他的“水班长”生涯，看着蓝天下运动员们生龙活虎的身影，他也渐渐爱上了那个具有神奇魔力的能令运动员哭和笑的棒球，心里也萌生出要当棒球运动员追逐活泼乱跳的棒球的梦想。到了棒球部的东球，会有什么新鲜而苦甜搀杂的遭遇？
好玩的是，爸爸进奎（郑镇荣 饰）在小东球的眼里，是个天下无敌的守护神，因此无论在梦里遇见险境还是在现实中碰到困难在东球脑袋里浮现出来的SOS超人都是骑着炸鸡店外卖摩托车出发赶来的英姿飒爽的爸爸。“东球，爸爸一生都会保护你的水壶还有你上学的路”——进奎一个人抚养着有缺陷的儿子，辛苦经营炸鸡店，只要东球不会梦见鸡怪兽，他都会耐心地教儿子数数“一只鸡，两只鸡，三只鸡……”。为了能让东球记住从学校到家的路怎么走，他整整花了三年的时间。尽管吃力，但为了能让东球这个唯一的儿子过上正常健康的生活，他一边吃力地工作，一边想方设法教他自立独立的技能。随着东球长大，进奎面临了新的问题：学校认为东球应该尽快转学到专门的残疾学校上学；势利的房东为了避免闲言碎语也暗示他们搬走。原本为东球规划的人生道路似乎不能再走下去。一心想让儿子在健全孩子的环境下成长的进奎，这个无论如何都要咬紧牙关做天下无敌老爸的人会做出何种举动守护儿子的未来……
究竟理想和现实可否共存？看来这是此片编导最想探讨的问题。「威基基兄弟」本是一队四人的乐队组合，但是成员都先后因为种种原因相继离队，众人都得向现实低头，知道单是理想实在不能够医肚，也不能够维持生活，唯独男主角Sung-woo不肯向现实低头，无论环境有多恶劣，包括要他受辱，他也不放弃理想，誓要继续其乐手的职业。但单是坚持是否就足够？只见Sung-woo每次演奏时都目无表情，矛盾的心情可见，看来他又不是真的这样享受这种所谓的「理想」生活。相反，和Sung-woo一样，理想成为职业乐手的酒店打杂（柳昇范）却吃得开得多，他和Sung-woo一样，最后也能在酒店卖唱，却表现得非常投入，因为他懂得变通，为自己的表演注入商业原素，而非只求孤芳自赏，所以能够得到老闆和观众的支持。透过酒店打杂和Sung-woo的比较，编导把为理想的艺术家所面对的难题以调子灰暗的剧情呈现出来，感觉令人心酸和无奈。
从一个角度来看，可以尝试把两人的比较放在韩国的电影界来看。近年韩国有不少有抱负和才华的电影人，他们不是不懂拍纯粹艺术电影，但是为了能扬名和让更多观众认识自己的电影，也为了能找到投资者，往往要为电影加添不少商业原素，才能取得成功，这种情况犹如戏内酒店打杂一样，如果你要在这个圈子生存，就要了解游戏规则。硬是要搞孤芳自赏的话，不是不行，但最终只会如Sung-woo一样被逼回到乡下地方继续其事业，并不能在大围圈子内发围。对于这群有抱负和才华的电影人而言，Sung-woo的遭遇绝对是他们在现实所面对的窘境的最佳写照。这是进退两难的局面，要冲开去实在不容易。这亦解释了为什麽电影海报以配角的柳昇范为主，因为他在此片的作用是举足轻重，也是唯一取得成功的一人。
此片不少演员都是资深舞台剧演员，演出电影经验不多，但是凭着丰富的舞台经验，把戏内笑中有泪的角色性格演活，犹其主角LeeEol，表情不多却成功塑造出主角无奈的性情。新人柳昇范（导演柳昇完的弟弟）亦充满活力，为此片沉鬱的气氛增添不少生气。
此片剧情甚富馀韵，是一齣拍得有意思的电影，只不过风格上偏向闷艺片典型，并不是容易为大众接受的类型，加上全片歌曲甚多（歌词对剧情发展甚为重要，记谨留意字幕），如果你不喜欢音乐或文艺片的话，未必能坐毕全程。
Do-gyeong jumped in to save his student Jiyong from drowning. After the two pass away, Myeongji, Do-gyeong's wife, and Jieun, Jiyong's sister, are left alone in the world, having to cope with the loss of their loved ones. Myeongji travels to Warsaw, Poland, to avoid her harsh reality. She meets an old friend and hides her husband's death as if trying to reject the tragedy.
