But when word gets out on Miss Piggy's talk show, UFO Mania, that the friendly aliens are coming, a secret government agency led by K. Edgar Singer (Jeffrey Tambor) captures Gonzo and goes to great lengths to learn when his extra-terrestrial family will arrive.

普罗托带着在酒吧唱歌的歌手迪娜和机器人布鲁诺逃往一个废弃的工厂，这里的物资足够他们生活几个月。但很快雷克斯的手下也找到了这里，一场激战后普罗托带着朋友们逃出了工厂。但氧气无法支持他们走太远的路，普罗托和迪娜因缺氧倒在了路边，布鲁诺也因电池耗尽停止了脚步。
危机时刻一名路人将他们救起，这个叫菲利克斯的人是普罗托的忠实崇拜者，当他得知自己救助的竟是心中的偶像时，兴奋之情溢于言表。
普罗托来到了雷克斯居住的酒店，通过好朋友托尼进入了雷克斯的房间。出乎所有人预料的是，这个大多数人只闻其声不见其人的雷克斯竟然是一个克隆人，而且就是普罗托的克隆人！两个长相一样的人站在一起令在场的人难辨真假，即使两人扭打在一起也让双方手下人无从下手帮忙。混乱中普罗托将雷克斯从窗口仍出，臭名昭著的雷克斯最终葬身在他一心想要称霸的月球上。
普罗托的酒吧重张开业，这里的生意依然火爆。当然这不仅和普罗托的经营方法有关，更重要的是他有迪娜这样出色的歌手和布鲁诺这样忠诚的伙伴。

本片是一部由著名笑星埃迪·墨菲主演的喜剧科幻片，故事发生在2080年后的月球。因此如何将影片里的月球建设得既奇幻又不让观众感到荒谬成为了影片留给幕后工作者的一大难题。不要以为这部影片里有多少如同《骇客帝国》或者《魔戒》三部曲中的电脑特技处理。影片中的所有月球景象，都只不过是在制片商发现的一个大仓库里面拍摄的而已。在这个过去停有报废火车的大仓库里，他们建造出了让所有人都为之惊讶的未来月球城市。
影片的导演罗恩·安德伍德曾于1998年凭借怪兽题材影片《巨猩乔杨》获得当年奥斯卡最佳视觉效果的提名，之后又拍摄了科幻电影《从地心窜出》，因此拍摄这部《星际冒险王》也算驾轻就熟。加上因在影片《肥佬教授》和《怪医杜利德》中出色的表演天分和多变的角色风格而赢得世界性声誉的埃迪·墨菲的加盟，也令本片又多了一个吸引人眼球的看点。

然而，就在他们启程的时候，天空中出现了异象，无数的彗星集结起来成为一个又一个巨大的火球，来势汹汹朝着小镇袭来，在不久的将来，这片恬静的土地将沦为一片地狱的火海。
本片为经典惊悚电影，叙述地质小队来到亚马逊丛林里，科学家发现海洋与陆地交接间有种恐怖生物，长个骷髅手和蛛网指。他们接着又发现半人半鱼的生物，试图要捕捉牠，不久这可怕生物就要反扑。
利用《电子战场2》留下的片段和一条非常细的故事线，亚历克斯再次与1998年在非洲东部的机器人雇佣兵作战。这一次，亚历克斯发现她有20个半姐妹正在等她回到2077年。中央司令部希望亚历克斯被活捉并扫描，看看她的DNA是否比正常的DNA更强更有力。但是亚历克斯可能太苛刻了，不值得去捕捉。
"Dr. Cyclops" is known as one of the better "early sci-fi" films, made in '39 and released in 1940. (It is also in color.) But while the story has potential and there are some good moments, this is a very confused film.
The plot is simple - crazy mad scientist on some remote island can shrink animals, and wants to try it on humans. He manages this on a scientific team that came to check things out. They get angry, and the crazy scientist eventually gets really angry because his new shrunken subjects won't cooperate.
The thing is, the film doesn't seem to know if it wants to be a thriller, or a goofy movie. Dr. Cyclops (never called that but referenced to a Cyclops after one lens in his glasses breaks) looks cool in his "30's style sci-fi helmet" as he performs experiments and can be chilling at times. But there is so much "Disney-style goofy music" going on that it is hard to take anything seriously. The music belongs in a family comedy for the most part, and is played when the shrunken people do things like try to survive, and creep around the floor. Add that a few of them have pretty gruesome deaths and that just adds to the confusing atmosphere.
The FX aren't so bad but nothing special. The giant sets built are pretty impressive though. There is a scene where little fires are tossed at a real crocodile's head which probably made animal activists angry.
It also takes a long time for anything to really happen. This movie could have been done in a nice tight half-hour. Good for a viewing, but you probably won't watch again. The performance of the guy who plays Dr. Cyclops is definitely the main attraction.

Like a dream, some things can only be experienced to understand
This film has some of the most beautiful imagery and haunting music ever. (Not to overstate it or anything) A three hander set in a post apocalyptic Oz outback (but one which is wildly more fantastical than Mad Max), Spirits of the Air tells the story of Smith, a stranger on the run who happens upon Felix and Betty, far into the desert.
All around them are amazing images of cars buried into the ground like totems, huge flags blowing madly in the desert wind and their house itself is of the old oz pioneer style but decorated everywhere with crucifixes. Felix is an inventor obsessed with flight and making a glider, an obsession which has already left him in a wheel chair. Betty is one of the truly great film characters, just an absolute tripper - I can't describe her but the performance is a delight.
This is not a fast film, it is not action packed but is intense - the imagery and art direction are beautiful, the writing is distinct and very Australian but still universal, the soundtrack is haunting (a lot of windsound montages with a simple tune used to great effect) and the performances are both real and surreal.
Until you see this film (and for those who have enjoyed the increasingly brilliant work of Alex Proyas, you really should) you won't know what you are missing.
