　　Victor, an unemployed film director, his wife just died and left him a 9-year-old son. The difficulties depressed him so much and he became a drunk. The alcoholism was the only way to allow him to escape into the LaLaLand, the drunken illusions had become so real that he evolved into a great dreamer, telling wonderful stories to his son. His drunkenness also made him a would-be director who thought he himself actually directed those fantastic stories he told his son.

　　19世纪中叶，西班牙巴斯克地区一个偏远所在。衣着考究的阿尔弗雷德·奥提兹（Ramón Agirre 饰）来到了当地一个小镇，他自称为省政府工作，此行的目的是找当第一个外号“铁锤”的铁匠帕尔西·弗朗西斯科（坎迪多·乌兰加 Kandido Uranga 饰）了解事情。从当地 人口中得知，铁锤脾气暴躁，不好相处，他所在的铁匠铺已成废墟，传言中这个铁匠更被人们视作魔鬼。未过多久，小镇的男人弄清了奥提兹的真实意图，原来数年前的西班牙资产阶级革命后，传言卡洛斯的黄金就隐藏在铁匠铺中。利欲熏心的镇民和奥提兹前往铁匠铺，却不知这里正是地狱魔鬼出没的恐怖所在……

　　12岁女孩子奥菲丽娅（伊万娜•巴克尔洛 饰）有一个凶暴的法西斯军官继父维达（塞吉•洛佩兹 饰），维达的任务就是镇压反抗者，研究各种刑具来折磨残害被抓来的异见人士，奥菲丽娅每天都目睹让人不愉快的事件。眼看着冷酷的继父和其党羽每日作恶还以此为乐，母亲又身怀六甲患病在床，被孤独感和目睹暴行的痛苦困扰的奥菲丽娅开始沉浸在自己的幻想中聊以自慰。
　　一天，奥菲丽娅遇到了迷宫的守护者，潘神（道格•琼斯 饰）。潘神告诉她，她其实是奇幻王国失踪的公主，要想恢复身份，必须通过三个危险的考验。

　　Javi, a perfectly ordinary teenager with a perfectly ordinary life, who has no reason to suspect that his crush on classmate Sara might be reciprocated. She only has eyes for the lurid literary saga HollyBlood, about to get its own big-screen adaptation. Nevertheless, Javi is determined to tell her how he feels. Through a string of unanticipated events and misunderstandings, Sara comes to believe that her suitor is in possession of supernatural powers. While battling his own guilt over the deception, Javi also has to contend with the school bully, Sara’s opinionated best friend and a Van Helsing obsessive fixated on hunting vampires. Unbeknownst to them all, an ancient evil stalks their school, preparing a new attack and forcing them to make a choice: will they overcome their differences and fight side by side, or will they succumb to the most powerful vampire the world has ever known?
